Cirque du Soleil
Went down to North Davidson last night (NoDa) to try a new restaurant called The Crepe Cellar. Great beer and wine selection, menu and we ended dinner with Bannas Foster…split 3 ways of course. Used a Groupon which by the way we are taking advantage more of these days…highly recommend both The Crepe Cellar and Groupons!
Heading out to show property in Highland Creek then off to look at a set of golf clubs for Sarah. Getting her back in to the “swing” of it after 23 years!
Left Harrisburg this morning to do some final shopping at Concord Mills…at Best Buy/Geel Squad. Ordered replacement battery for lap top, good thing I purchased extended warranty. Staff very helpful
So as many of you know, my family and I move to the Charlotte area back in 1995 after spending most of our life in the Mid-West. Me from Chicago, and my wife Sarah from Cedar Rapids, IA. We WERE used to the cold. As a matter of fact, 20-25 degrees in the winter back then was considered a relief…a minor heat wave at times 🙂 Since our move here though, my blood seems to have thinned quite a bit. Now, even 40 is cold to me and waking up to the teens this morning…forget about it! It was soooo cold, even my dog Tori decided to watch from the window as I went to fetch the morning paper myself.
OK, enough about the freezing temps but I still say as long as it’s gonna be cold…let it snow some so we can enjoy!
Good afternoon Harrisburg,
Wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself to those of you who don’t know me (for most, this would be true). I recently moved to Harrisburg in 2006 with my wife Sarah and 2 children Nicole (16) and Jack (11). Oh yes, must mention the dog “Tori”, cat “Oliver”, big eyed gold fish “Plato” and the newest member of our family “Zelda” the rain water gecco. I am originally from Chicago and moved to Charlotte with a job transfer in the Optical industry in 1995. Our first home here was really not too far away fromHarrisburg and was over in the University area just off of Prosperity Rd.
Always wanting to own my own business, I became a Realtor in 2001 and totally enjoy helping folks buy and sell homes in and around the Charlotte Metro market. Sarah actually joined me in the business this year and got her licensed back in March.
When I’m not selling homes, I enjoy most outdoor activities, especially golf, tennis, camping and fishing. I also enjoys the theatre, music, good food (love to BBQ) and good wine.
